Artist's Comments
The first in a series of drawings that were inspired by the music of the musical Man of La Mancha, and had been left aside for far too long. But as I have said before, I hope to change that in these next few days.
First off is Dulcinea, or rather Aldonza, the bitter kitchen wench of the inn where don Quixote is "knighted." At the time I was experimenting with some stylistic changes that haven't really stuck.
