Well, here it is. Quite possibly the strangest of the set of logos I've done. This set centers around the rarely seen letter Æ. For those curious souls out there here are a few definitions…
Æther: A substance once thought to fill all things. The force of life and creation. Also a synonym for air and sky. Ægis: Protection, generally divine. In Homer's poems it's the name of Zues's buckler (a shield). Æstival: Having the quality of Summer or Autumn. Probably my strangest word in the set. I just thought it was neat. I realize these words are hardly common, I just wanted to do something different. That and I was having trouble thinking of much else. If you've got any ideas I'd love to hear them. Hope you enjoy, and look forward to a little compilation deviation featuring all 18 designs. |
